Antique Flow Blue Transferware Cup And Saucer 1880s Booths Alaska England

Booths, England

SKU:
  • $ 7800

This is an antique late Victorian flow blue transferware cup and saucer made by Booths, England during the 1880-1890ss in a pattern called Alaska.

The design, which is illustrated in most Flow Blue Collector guides, has fruit, floral and shell vignettes on white ironstone and this version has the addition of hand applied gold accents and a beaded edge.

The flow blue and white cup is 2.25 inches high and the saucer is 5.75 inches in diameter .

The blue and white teacup and saucer is in in very good ++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks but has gold wear.

Which considering the age is wonderful! wear. Early sets like this are hard to find.

A wonderful antique teacup, very decorative and pretty pattern.

And blue and white is always a favorite for me!
