This is an elegant antique Shelley China, England black transferware tea tile, tea pot coaster or teapot trivet measuring 1 inch high by 7 inches in diameter made between 1916-1925.

 The tea pot tile has marvelous black transferware festoons, swags, hand colored rosebuds and rose medallions, a beaded edge like pearls and gold trim and would add an air of refinement to any tea table.

 There are no chips, cracks or restorations, only some gold trim wear. There is one under glaze dent on the underneath of the rim made during manufacture and the white marks in the photo are camera reflections, not flaws.
