This is a 9 inch in diameter plate made by Enoch Wedgwood, England for Avon for Christmas 1979 in a pattern called Dashing Through The Snow.

The plate is the 7th edition in the Christmas Plates series and has a lovely nostalgic design of a sleigh going over a stone bridge overlooking a snowbound village in the moonlight.

The plate has a pale blue border, gold trim and is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear.

Such a nostalgic and decorative holiday or Christmas plate!
