Shelley Bridal Rose Teacup Trio Rose Spray 1950s Richmond Shape Pink Gold Trim
This is a delicate Shelley China, England tea cup and saucer with matching plate or teacup trio in the Richmond shape in a combo pattern or the variously named Bridal Rose or Rose Spray pattern with a ribbon and laurel leaf border with pink and gold trim.
The pretty cup and saucer with matching plate was made between 1940-1966 when the pottery closed. I could be more precise if the number was legible, but alas it is not.
The cup has a pink foot and handle and is 2.65 inches high, the saucer is 5.65 in diameter the matching plate measures 6.25 inches in diameter. and the cup and saucer are in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks and the slightest signs of wear.
A lovely, feminine and pretty pattern which reminds me of lovely wallpaper for your tea table.
