This is an antique fabulous Romantic Staffordshire, England flow blue transfer or transferware bowl in an unknown landscape pattern by an unknown pottery.

 The bowl dates to the Victorian era 1840-1870. The bowl is 2.25 inches high by 10 inches in diameter and features a gothic scene with a fancy border with landscape vignettes, a molded shape a remnants of sponged gold trim.

 The antique transferware serving bowl is in very good ++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks.

There are a few utensil marks on the bottom and 3 stilt marks on the bottom used during manufacture and firing, which is normal and underlines the age of the piece. A wonderful piece of Victoriana.
