Wisteria Cup and Saucer Rosina England Hand Colored On Black Transfer Red Enamel Accents
This is a vintage Rosina, England cup and saucer made by between 1948 and 1952, pattern number 4981, with an art deco design of dark purple Wisteria blossoms, hand colored on black transferware with red enamel hand applied accents.
The design is of a Wisteria in a garden by a brick wall growing into an arch, and the design has gold trim.
The hand painted on transfer cup is 2.5 inches high and the saucer is 5.5 in diameter.
The cup and saucer are in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There is a few stray black lines from the application of the transfer design, but that often happens.
A wonderful vintage design for your tea table.
