This is wonderful bird themed bone china teacup trio or cup and saucer with matching plate made by the Royal Tuscan, England that dates to the 1970s.

The pretty pedestal cup is 3 inches high, the saucer is 5.5 inches in diameter and the matching plate is 8.25 inches in diameter and all pieces have gold trim.

The design features the male and female Goldfinch feasting on Thistles which are a favorite treat.

The Goldfinch design, which is pattern number D2163, is part of a series called Audubon Birds and was discontinued in 1978.

The cup, saucer and plate are all in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks and only the most minor signs of wear.
