English Tea Tin 1930s Red Hawking Scenes 18th Century Dress Tea Caddy

English vintage

SKU:
  • $ 000

This is a vintage large English  tea tin, tea canister or tea caddy with a an great design of red with black and white vignettes of people with hawks in 18th century dress and game birds.

The tea tin or tea caddy was made in England in the 1920-1930s by George Horner, Ltd. Durham, England.

The tea caddy measures 7 inches high by 5.5 inches in diameter, is a tapering cylinder and has a friction fit lid with a hexagonal metal lid finial.

The tea tin is in very good +++ used vintage condition with a few minor scratches on the lid and one place where tape seems to have been attached at one time.

The interior is in excellent condition.

I love these decorative English tea caddy tins and they are difficult to find now.
