This is a vintage large blonde oak treen England tea canister or tea caddy with a porcelain liner and chrome fittings with the chrome word TEA on the front from the 1940-1950s.  

The tea caddy measures 6.5 inches high not counting the handle by 6 inches in diameter.

The tea tin is in very good +++ used vintage condition with some wear to the finish on the wood barrel and a bit of pitting to the chrome lid which may polish out. The porcelain interior of the vintage or mid century wood tea caddy is in very good used condition.

I love these decorative English wooden or treen tea caddies and they are difficult to find now.
