This is a hand made Golden Crown, England bone china Staffordshire posy flower bowl ornament or paperweight,  with a pink tipped Carnation, blue Anemone and yellow Rose with green leaves in a white bowl.

The floral ornament or paperweight has it's original foil sticker made in the 1950s. The Staffordshire Posy measures 1.5 inches high by 3 inches in diameter.

We watched craftsman making these at the factory workrooms in Stoke On Trent  and were amazed at the skill and time it took to make each part of these arrangements by hand from a lump of clay. The workrooms have all closed now and this is a dying art. Beautiful!

The Staffordshire posy paperweight is in excellent used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or restorations to the flowers which is rare. The white lines visible in the photos are light strikes on the glossy glaze, and there is no damage. These are perfect decor accents for your tea table.
