This is an antique late Victorian chinoiserie blue transferware cup and saucer made by Allertons, England during the 1880s white an Asian or oriental flow blue and white landscape design.

At first glance it looks like Blue Willow, but lacks the elements that characterize that pattern... most especially the two birds.

The porcelain cup is 2.25 inches high and the saucer is 57.5 inches in diameter.

The blue and white teacup and saucer is in in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks and has only minor wear. Which considering the age is wonderful! wear.

The mark is C.A.& Sons which is Charles Allerton and Sons, England, one of their mid Victorian era marks.  Early sets like this are hard to find.
