Atlantic City New Jersey Dust Pan Crumber Silver Plate Souvenir 1920s Table Gadget

American vintage

SKU:
  • $ 000

This is an antique silver plated crumber, or crumb tray and blade, sometimes referred to as a silent butler, used to clean crumbs from the dinner table between courses.

This is a souvenir crumber of embossed silver plated metal made in the 1920s in Japan with it's original red silk tassel on the blade.

The crumber or pan measures 5.75 inches high by 6 inches wide and the blade is 7.5 inches long by 2 inches wide.

The design has embossed flowers on the top of both the pan and blade, and the pan has embossed depictions of such Atlantic City, New Jersey landmarks like the Elephant Hotel, Steel Pier, Convention Hall and the Million Dollar Pier.

The pan and blade are in very good used vintage condition with most of the silver plating intact. There is a bit of loss at the top of the pan on the back where it was grasped or hung up. Cool!
