This is a 1960s floral chintz cylinder tea tin, tea caddy or tea canister made in Italy for Case Manufacturing, New York, USA.

The tea tin or tea caddy or tea canster measures 6.5 inches high by 4.5 inches in diameter with a friction fit lid and features a multicolor floral chintz on a gold metallic background.

The interior is in excellent condition and the exterior shows no signs of use or scratches either. I don't know what it was originally used for, but it's an outstanding tea tin! The tea tin is very decorative as well as useful. A great kitchen accent.
