This is a vintage English ceramic mug in the very early version of Calico Blue or Blue Calico pattern by Royal Crownford, England from the 1940-1950s.

The pretty blue floral chintz mug measures 3.15 inches high by 3 inches in diameter.

The vintage Calico Blue mug is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks, and a bit of normal mild crazing.

A lovely accent for your tea table and a wonderful example of an older version of the popular pattern, which through several mergers has come through the family to Burleigh and is still being produced in England.
