This is a vintage souvenir tea caddy spoon with an applied enamel shield of Teignmouth. The tea caddy spoon is chrome and dates to the 1940-1950s. 

The tea caddy spoon measures 3 inches long and has a round bowl with enamel shield finial.

Tea caddy spoons were used to spoon precious loose tea from the various tea caddies and jars.

They were especially popular in the Georgian through Victorian eras and were small so as to be locked inside the caddy with the precious and expensive tea.
