This is a fabulous Haviland, Limoges France butter chip, butter pat or small butter plate made in the 1900-1910 with designers GDA or Gerard, Dufraissiex and Abbot.

The drop dead gorgeous porcelain butter pat measures 3.35 inches in diameter has a fancy and gorgeous pattern of rose and ribbon swags with a central alternating circle of green and metallic gold daisies with a beaded, heavy burnished gold scalloped border.

The antique French butter pat, which makes a wonderful teabag caddy now, is in excellent used vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
