Sampson Smith, Old Royal England

SKU:
  • $ 000

This is an art deco design, in the softest blush pink on white hand colored brown transferware cup and saucer with a design of wild roses and trees.

The pretty delicate pink bone china teacup and saucer was made in the 1930-1940s by Sampson Smith, England in the Old Royal line.

The pattern number is 2818.

The pattern is of wild roses growing beneath trees and foliage with a wonderful green art deco shaped handle, cup base and saucer ring.

The bone china cup is 2.5 inches high and the saucer is 5.5 in diameter.

The cup and saucer are in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear and only the most minor signs of use on the saucer.

These art deco designs are so fun and so very evocative of the era. And, as they are hand colored, no two are alike.
