Silver Salt Spoon 1933 George V Coin Hand Made Genuine Silver Spoon
SKU:
This is an English antique sterling silver salt spoon hallmarked made for a threepence coin made by the Royal Mint in 1933 during the reign of King George V.
The salt spoon measures 2.5 inches long, has a round bowl measuring .6 of an inch in diameter that has been hand hammered into a convex shape. The coin has then had an artisan add a barley twist handle with a turned finial.
The spoon dates to the pivotal year of 1933 and the back has a lovely pattern of embossed acorns and oak leaves.
The salt spoon is in excellent condition and is very difficult to find.
I have sold some others as pendants for unusual necklaces.
