George V Silver Jubilee 6 Sterling Silver Spoons Wilmot Birmingham 1935 England Coffee Tea
This is a set of 6 British Royal commemorative English hallmarked sterling silver teaspoons, coffee spoons or demitasse spoons with hallmarks for Wilmot Manufacturing Silver Company, Birmingham, England made in 1934-1935 with a an elegant art deco design for the Silver Jubilee in 1935 of the coronation of King George V.
The coffee or demi tea spoons have an elegant angled art deco beaded design that is really beautiful. I have not been able to identify the pattern, but one has the profiles of their majesties King George V and Queen Mary, marking the set as having been made for the Jubilee.
Each of the spoons measures 5 inches long.
The set of 6 hallmarked sterling silver spoons weighs a total of 108 grams of silver and are not monogrammed.
An elegant compliment to tea or after dinner coffee.
The commemorative spoon set is in very good +++ used vintage condition with minor scratching from normal use. Such a pretty way to stir your tea or coffee.
