This is a  Shelley China, England art deco design cup and saucer in the Regent shape with a design called Swirls with gold trim made 1940-1952.

The tea cup and saucer is made of bone china with bands of golden brown and gold on white with an art deco design ring handle and bears the pattern number 12876.

The cup is 2.85 inches high, the saucer is 5.65 inches in diameter and both are in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks, but there is a bit of wear to the gold trim on the cup rim and in one spot on the top of the ring handle. A wonderful deco set.
