This is a late Victorian era sterling silver souvenir coffee spoon for the Chicago World's Fair Columbian Exhibition, held in Chicago Illinois 1892-1893.

The elegant sterling silver coffee or demitasse spoon measures 4 inches long, has a shaped classical handle with World's Fair Chicago 1492, in honor of when Columbus reached America, embossed on the finial.

The Victorian sterling silver spoon has a gold washed embossed bowl featuring one of the buildings in famous White City that glowed with the new electricity.

The spoon is marked Sterling with the maker's mark of RW for R. Wallace Silver Company, USA.

The sterling silver souvenir spoon is in excellent used vintage condition and is a great commemorative spoon.
