This is a vintage English silver plated dresser jar or vanity jar with a hand engraved lid made with an art deco flower basket design during the 1920-1930s. 

The dresser jar, vanity jar or lidded box measures 2.5 inches high by 3 in diameter and has a hand engraved stylized art deco period basket design.

The jar is in very good +++ used vintage condition with a tight hinge and secure closure with 1 lid rim dent, 1 bottom base rim dent and no plate loss.

 A very elegant item for your dresser or vanity as a trinket, ring or jewelry box.

The box is beautiful and would add elegance to any dresser or vanity or could be used on a desk for clips and stamps, etc.
