This is an antique clear glass quart canning or storage jar with a wire closing bail and original lid made by Ball Ideal, USA between 1923-1933 by the logo on it which has no underline and the dropped a. "Pat'd July 14, 1908" molded into side below Ideal name.

The Ball jar measures 7.5 inches high by 4 inches in diameter and is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks.

There are some glass impurities from manufacturing and some discoloration on the bail, but that's it.

I put with some white paper inside for the photos to better show the markings. A great antique kitchen treasure.
