Royal Staffordshire Blue Transferware Glencoe Cake Plate 1879s Salad Plate Victorian
This is an antique English blue transferware salad plate made in the Staffordshire region of England 1850-1870s in a pattern called Glencoe madein the mid victorian era by Royal Stafford, England.
The ironstone 7 inch in diameter plate has an early aesthetic and geometric blue transferware design on a molded and scalloped shape with gold trim.
The plate is in very good ++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks, but does have some kiln dust specks and gold wear.
A wonderful example of Victorian era tea ware.
