Sugar Tongs 1835 London Georgian Regency English Hallmarked Sterling Silver TGS
This is an antique pair of English Regency or Georgian period hallmarked sterling silver sugar tongs in an elegant classic Georgian pattern.
The sugar tongs or nips are hallmarked for London, England 1835 and the maker TGS whom I have been unable to identify.
The English hallmarked sterling silver sugar tongs measure 5.75 inches long. They are monogramed on the bow with J in script and have spoon ends.
They are in excellent condition and would be a beautiful way to pass the sugar cubes at your next tea party with George III hallmarked sugar tongs.
gram weight: 52.4 grams of sterling silver
