Sugar Tongs 1828 London Georgian Regency English Hallmarked Sterling Silver Initial J
This is an antique pair of English Regency or Georgian period hallmarked sterling silver sugar tongs in an elegant classic Georgian pattern.
The sugar tongs or nips are hallmarked for London, England 1828 and the maker BM & S whom I have been unable to identify.
The English hallmarked sterling silver sugar tongs measure 5.75 inches long.
The elegant sterling sugar tongs are monogramed on the bow with the initial J in script and have spoon ends.
They are in excellent used vintage condition and would be a beautiful way to pass the sugar cubes at your next tea party with Georgian hallmarked sugar tongs.
gram weight: 52.4 grams of sterling silver
