English Ironstone Blue Transferware Platter Blue Floral Weatherby Trentham 1892-1905
This dark blue transferware or transfer ware platter was made 1892-1905 by J.H. Weatherby and Sons, Hanley, Staffordshire England in the pattern called Trentham.
The serving platter measures 11 inch by 8 inch and is marked semi porcelain. The platter is molded and has a gilt rim.
The platter is in very good +++ used antique condition with no chips or cracks, but there are a couple of manufacturing flaws due to impurities in the cla which is frequently seen in this era.
