Ornate Bowl Grimwades England Roses Embossed Gold Trim Victorian 1886-1908
This is a lovely large antique Victorian ceramic bowl with a fancy shape and decoration that was made by Grimwades, England not long before they merged with Royal Winton to become Royal Winton Grimwades. The fancy embossed and scalloped bowl has a design of roses with hand applied gold trim and gold sponging. The bowl measures 1.75 inches high by 11.5 inches long by 9 inches wide and has a rare mark that is seldom seen and was used sparingly from 1886-1908. The bowl is in very good +++ condition with no chips or cracks and only minor gold wear. A very pretty and decorative bowl.
