Clarice Cliff Tonquin Blue Transferware Dinner Plate 1930s Ironstone Plate

English vintage

SKU:
  • $ 000

This is a blue transferware dinner plate in the Tonquin pattern by Royal Staffordshire, England made and signed Clarice Cliff, while she was art director.

The pretty ironstone dinner plate was made in 1920-1930s made after her Bizarre period.

The dinner plate pattern is an oriental landscape transfer or transferware design with a lovely molded floral border.

The plate is 10 inches in diameter and the is in very good +++ condition with the no chips or cracks and only very minor utensil marks.

Love this blue and white pattern.
