This is a lovely vintage linen hand towel, guest towel or tea towel with a hand embroidered floral spray design on white from the 1950s.

The towel measures 19 inches long by 13.25 inches wide.

The pretty hand towel features satin stitch, lazy daisy, French knots and more in multicolor threads of white, pink, blue green and yellow in a bouquet of flowers or wild flowers.

The hem is a drawn thread seamed hem.

The hand towel dates to the 1950s and is in excellent condition.

Beautifully done. The towel is part of an English linens collection we recently acquired but I am not sure where this was made.
