This is a chippy, shabby chic 9.75 luncheon plate in the Crown Ducal, England Bristol pattern of purple or mulberry transferware, a variation on the ever popular pattern of Asiatic Pheasants from the 1930s. 

The lunch or luncheon plate measures 9.75 inches in diameter. The purple transferware plate has the great oriental peony tree design with the fancy or fantasy birds of Asiatic Pheasants.

This plate is in good used vintage, shabby chippy condition with one old rim chip, another back rim chip and general use marks.

The plate is still very decorative and priced according to condition.
