This is a vintage medium sized ironstone tea caddy or tea canister made by Masons, England in the 1940s in the Fruit Basket pattern in the blue transferware, polychrome, or multicolor colorway.

The tea caddy measures 4.25 inches high by 4 in diameter and is very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear and only mild crazing.  

The tea caddy, jar or canister is a very decorative addition to kitchen or desk and could be used for a lot of things beside teabags, and in many different rooms.
