This is an antique postcard with a postally used divided back and metallic gold text and accents.

The postcard shows a couple, the man in a military uniform with metallic gold lettering and frame titled Home Again.

The postcard has the poem or prayer in metallic gold "But the Great God was good and her soldier boy lived, and the vic'try of war too was theirs. Midst their joy though they both of them thanked the dear Lord, for His mercy in answering their prayers". 

The romance postcard is postmarked Medford, NC Apr 4 1910 addressed to Harry Bakley, Alexandria, V.A. The card is not signed. 

The postcard was made by Theodore Eismann. Theochrome Serie No, 1151, printed in Germany with a photo copyright of 1908. The postcard is in very good condition with corner scuffs and some gold frame edge chipping and some wear and fingerprints on the gold. In archival sleeve.
