SKU:
  • $ 2800

This is a pair of floral brown transfer or transferware butter chips or butter pats in a pattern called Ventnor made by T & R Boote, England from 1892-1906 with hand colored accents.

The butter pats each measures 3 inches in diameter and are made of semi porcelain, or ironstone.

The butter pats, which make wonderful teabag caddies or ring dishes now, have a brown floral transfer border design with hand colored accents in blue and a pinky peach.

The butter pats have the Rd number, or Registry Design number for 1885.

The butter pats are in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks but do have the odd mineral impurity or kiln dust which is normal for this age and material and very mild crazing on one.
