Hot Water Pot Aynsley Golden Crocus Chocolate Pitcher Teapot White And Gold 1985-1989

Aynsley, England

SKU:
  • $ 3800

This is an Aynsley China, England hot water part that anyone not a purist could also use as a chocolate pot or teapot in the Golden Crocus pattern of petal molded bone china with burnished gold trim.

The hot water pot was made in England between 1985-1989.

The pretty teapot measures 6 inches high by 5 inches long spout tip to handle edge by 3.25 inches in diameter, and has such a tactile appeal with the crocus petal molding.

The gorgeous hot water pot is in excellent used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear.

The pot looks as if it has never been used! Hot water pots, which are really pitchers with a lid, were a part of the large formal tea services so the hostess could add hot water to the teapot as needed, but can really be used for anything.

The white and gold is so versatile, going with everything else on your tea table with style and grace.  Perfect for afternoon tea, bridal or engagement teas or and special occasion.
