This is an antique English Tunbridge Ware or Tunbridge Ware pedestal egg cup with a mosaic pattern wood inlay including green bits that was all hand made during the late Victorian period in England 1880-1900.

The egg cup measures 3 inches high by 1.75 inches in diameter and is made of a medium dark fruit wood.

The eggcup is in excellent used vintage condition with no missing pieces. I know I would not have had the patience to do work like this.

Tunbridge Ware is very difficult to find and very collectible.  A wonderfully collectible Victorian art that's both decorative and useful.
