This is a Shelley China, England extremely rare bone china demitasse cup commemorating the coronation in 1911 of King George V and Queen Mary of England.

The mark is the Late Foley mark, as it was made in the pottery In Foley.

The cup measures 2 inches high and just over 2.25 inches in diameter.

The cup has their majesties' portraits in color with the date and a design inside as well, with a lion and shield back.

The miniature cup is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or gold wear. There are 2 very minor scratches on the surround to Mary.

A wonderful piece of history from a very collectible china maker that sadly ceased production in 1966.
