This is an Aynsley, England bone single china salt or pepper shaker in a hand made Staffordshire Posy design that is unfortunately without a matching shaker.

The hand made bone china shaker or cruet is a hand made rose measuring 1.75 inches high by 1.75 inches in diameter.

This flower top shaker was made in the 1930s and features a lovely hand made pink rose on a white base with green leaves. The stopper is missing but would be easy to replace.

The posy is in excellent used vintage condition, but needs a mate!

We watched craftsman making these at the factory workrooms in Stoke On Trent and were amazed at the skill and time it took to make each part of these arrangements by hand from a lump of clay. The demonstration rooms have been closed. Beautiful!
