Gorgeous Edwardian Mintons England Cabinet Plate Heavy Gold Medallions As Is
This is an absolutely gorgeous Edwardian era dinner plate by Mintons, England with a heavy gold hand applied medallion and swag design.
The plate measures 9 inches in diameter and was made by Mitons in England in 1902-1911 for the Philadelphia, PA exclusive china shop Wright, Tyndale and Van Roden.
The hand painted heavy gold medallions and trim are truly a work of art in heavily encrusted and hand applied 24kt gold.
The plate is in very good +++ used vintage condition until you get to the middle where there is a large crescent shaped tight hairline. But if you are looking for a wonderful display piece that you don't plan to eat off, this is a wonderful piece and priced accordingly.
They literally don't make them like this anymore! A very decorative pattern and perfect in so many rooms of the home and just plain old elegant and gorgeous. Looks like something from the dining room at Downton Abbey.
