This is a wonderful and useful paperback book for Chintz collectors called the Charlton Standard Catalogue of Chintz from 1999 by Susan Scott from Charlton Press, Canada and the USA.

The book is a duplicate of one I use frequently when researching pattern name and history for chintz patterns by such makers as Shelley, Royal Winton, Lord Nelson and many lesser known potteries.

The essential Chintz reference has 296 pages and includes pattern photos, vintage ads for chintz, cup and teacup shape charts and other useful and interesting things.

The book measures closed .5 inch thick by 8.75 inches high by 6.75 inches wide.

The book is in very good +++ used vintage condition, but has been used. It has some shelving wear, and remnants of old glue from a price sticker on the top right corner cover. It doesn’t look like any pages were turned down, but I didn’t examine every page.

The book weighs 2 lbs, but will be sent media mail, which is not supported on my autocalculator, but any excess shipping will be adjusted to reflect the correct media shipping amount.
