This is a pretty stoneware cookie jar, biscuit jar or kitchen canister made in the 1980s with a band like Delft tiles with bouquets of flowers.

The cookie jar measures 8 inches high by 6 inches in diameter and was made for Pomerantz in Taiwan and includes the rubber gasket for air tight closure.

The canister or jar is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks.  

The cookie jar, biscuit barrel or canister is a very decorative addition to kitchen or desk and could be used for a lot of things beside teabags, cookie or whatever, and in many different rooms.
