This is an antique 1/6 plate tintype of 2 young ladies in a studio posed before a painted Italianate back drop.

The woman standing shows the wasp waist from wearing a corset and a mourning gown of black.

The tintype dates to 1870-1880s and has one dent and several other mild lines on the back with a bit of damage to 1 corner.
