This is a very fine vintage white on white hand embroidered floral hankie, hanky or handkerchief made hand  in the 1940-1950s.

The handkerchief measures 14 inches by 15 inches, has rolled and hand stitched hems and a hand embroidered flower motif in one corner that has insets of even finer lawn in the petals of the flower in very delicate work.

The handkerchief seems to be cotton polyester and the edges are hand rolled hems.

The hankie is in very good ++ used vintage condition with no tears, stains or broken stitches.
