This antique brass tea caddy is a bit of history.

Manufactured by Lipton Tea for the 1924 British Empire Exhibition in London, England it was the height of art deco style.

The brass commemorative tea caddy measures 5 inches high by 4.5 inches in diameter.

The tea caddy or canister has the dedication on a band around the middle and the raised Empire Exhibition lion on the front and the Lipton logo on the base.

There are several dents to the bottom but it is still a fabulous collector's piece.
