This is a 1940s red transferware sauce bowl, jam bowl or dessert dish made by Enoch Woods, England in the Woods Ware line and English Scenery pattern.

The ironstone rural scene bowl measures 1.25 inch high by 5.25 inches in diameter.

The small bowl or coupe is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks. A very pretty pattern and very collectible.  

These also make great teabag caddies, jam dishes or individual cream or lemon curd servers or for lemon slices. So elegant!
