This is a vintage 1950s English hand made knitted padded tea cozy or tea cosy with a striking color scheme of red and black stretchy stripes.  

The tea cozy or cosy measures 6 inches high by 8 inches wide and has a crocheted  closure at the bottom of one of the openings for the teapot spout and handle.

The tea cosy or cozy would fit a large 4 to 6 cup teapot and is in excellent condition with no flaws.
