This is a neat glazed ceramic souvenir trivet or tea tile of taking afternoon tea at the Fairmont Empress Hotel, Victoria, BC Canada in 1992.

The tea tile or trivet measures 6 inches square and has a cork feet to protect the table surface with a toothed metal hanger so the tile can be hung on the wall as a decorative accent.

The Empress afternoon tea souvenir tea tile is a beautiful blue on white depicting the history of taking afternoon tea and a drawing of the Empress Hotel with the date.
