This is a vintage tea tin, tea canister or tea caddy with a an attractive design of a geometric mid century modern tile pattern.

The oval tea tin or tea caddy was made in Brazil for Meister, a German firm, in the 1950s. 

The tea caddy measures 2.75 inches high by 6 inches long by 4.15 inches wide, and has a friction fit lid.

The tea tin or storage tin is in very good +++ used vintage condition with a few minor discolorations on the interior edges, or under the friction fit lid from use as shown in the photo.

Perfect for teabags or some many other things in so many rooms needing a decorative as well as useful accent.

I love these decorative tea caddy tins and they are difficult to find now.
