This is a neat figural pincushion in the shape of a lace up oxford shoe made of silver plated cast iron from the 1930s.

The pin cushion shoe measures 4.5 inches long by 1.25 inches wide by 2 inches high.

The figural pin cushion has an inset of red velvet with stuffing.

The shoe says Made In Japan on the sole and has Japanese characters on the inside of the heel.

It is in very good ++ used vintage condition with little plate loss but does have a hole in the heel where it looks to me like someone tried to hammer a nail with it! The velvet cover shows it was used quire a bit, but is still useable as well as being whimsical and decorative.

It's a great sewing collectible or fun accent for your sewing area..
