This is a pretty Shelley China, England demitasse cup and saucer in the Gainsborough shape and the Spring Bouquet pattern, number 13651 with gold trim. 

The pretty pattern features multicolor and varied flowers including purple thistle, and blue, pink and yellow spring meadow flowers, was made between 1940-1966 and is an infrequently seen pattern.

The cup is 2.15 inches high by 3.25 inches in diameter and the saucer is 4.75 in diameter and can be called a demitasse or after dinner coffee cup as well as a demi teacup.

The cup and saucer is in very good +++used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear and is a lovely and restful way to sip your tea.
